11.22 Spiritual Gift

We took a test in which determined what our spiritual gifts. By answering questions we write down numbers of whether it is true or not false in the range of 3-0. After recording the numbers we add it up on the column of a-p. Then we see what our top 3 corresponds to. My top with 16 was J and P. J was Knowledge in which i can relate to because I have lot of biblical knowledge that i have studied over the years. I can tell a basic summary of some characters of the bible. The other alphabet was P which was Wisdom. Wisdom in the booklet says ii give helpful advice to others who face complicated life situations. I can kind of relate to this because when my friends in the dorm give up their grades, or decides to focus on earthly things such as smoking, drinking, or playing games all day i try to convince them by telling them someday we will regret for what we did than what we did not do because humans make dumb choices and we regret lot about our choices.

11 18 SDS and BLS

Today we finished the SDS Assesment and found out our jobs and relations as well as being reminded of our talents and what we do not enjoy doing or was never talented in doing. The SDS assesment is basically shading in black for the L or R depending on your talent or how much you like something. Then later it asks how much you shaded in numbers and it gives a legit code for you depending on the majority of votes or shaded L's you have. Today my code was AES which basically was related to Art and Account Executive and with the similar codes i found out i have prodige in Director of Admissions, department manager, editorial writer, editor for news, dramatic coach, and director of student affair. It was quite interesting to see that i am a good editor or director or managers. And BLG is a site that you can search and find nature of the work, working conditions, employment, training, other qualitfication, Job outlook, Earnings, and alot of other stuff about the job

11 17 Learning Style

Today we went over a power point about the different types of learning styles people have and personal types. Which was categorized as Kinesthetic, Visual, and Auditory. Basically Auditory means you learn well when you hear someone talking about something and you can understand better by hearing. Visual basically means you learn best by power points, pictures, videos and any other visually related stuff. Kinesthetic means you can not sit still and have to do something standing up to learn better. These mean if you prefer one of the learning style you would be better off by telling the teacher politely to do more of visual or kinesthetic or visual so that you can benefit through the classes. And also we got the SDS Assessment which i will finish next class.

11 15 Learning Style and Personality Type

Today we went to naviance and had two long surveys to find out how we learned and what our personality type was. When i way how we learn it was dependent upon the light or the time when we want to learn or the motivations of teacher and many and many more factors. It was interesting to find in the learning style survey that i learn best in bright light and that i do not like authority over me when i study and that i have not much motivation from teachers. The personality type also let me know alot of new factors about me such as the fact that i like being by my own and im not social; howeer i usually learned stuff i already knew from the result of the survey.

Talent

Talent: Something given to everyone which is able to be lost or to be taken. It all depends on your effort to practice to go over you limits so that you can be standing out or so that you can use it in diverse ways.

My talents that comes to my mind would be art(drawing and painting my creative ideas or mimicing other works), singing(mimicing a voice or to make a music into my own voice), and playing basketball(Junior Varsity). Art was a talent given to me from when i was young but as i got older i practiced more on basics so that i can express my ideas on to paper. Singing was never my talent till i became a middle schooler because then i started to sing as a hobby then my freinds wanted me to be in the band. Basketball was kind of a talent when i was a middle schooler and i am still improving day by day. However, this was not a given talent but more of my practice that let me come to this point.

How do you plan on choosing a career?

A) I plan to used sources from diverse databases. Such as the web, library or from people. Also choosing a career; i believe I need to take into considerations of every job. Not focusing in my interest of the moment I'm standing upon. Till know i planed through finding my talent in which was art and because i have interest in shoes; i planned to be a shoe designer. Also through the influence of my sister who took art I have been influenced.

Does your gender make a change?

A) No, my gender had no impact of change to my plan of career. Since shoe designing is a global interest and any gender can have a career of making shoe.

Who will help you choose a career?

A) Probably my art teacher and my family can help choose my career because they know alot about me. And they already have supported me by teaching art or influencing me into going in to this way. Because my sisters are fashionable and my oldest sister takes art. I believe even if i change to a different career they will still support.

How To: Buy a laptop

To buy a laptop, you have to first decide the price range of your laptop. Depending on your income or your family conditions decide a price between $500 through $1700. Then you would decide if you prefer the Mac Osx Operating system or the PC Operating system. If you do not know what is different, the Macs operate with a simple operating system which is very limited unlike windows which has XP, Vista, and Windows 7. If you used windows or a PC in your house, it would take a while to get used to Mac's operating system. While, if you buy a PC you will be able to use it right out of the box. Mac is a totally different interface and design. It is owned by Apple, and the computers of Apple only have the Mac osx installed in their Macbook, Macbook Pros, and the Macbook Air. However, if you buy a PC laptop it will have the software from windows, but it will be made by some big companies. For example, Dell, Toshiba, Samsung, Sony, HP , and millions of more. This means, if you buy a Apple Macbook you will have an advantage that the OS would operate better because Apple is in charge, while PC laptops might have some downfalls since it can lack in some areas. Now, PC laptops can not operate Mac osx, but the Macbooks can operate Windows with an application called Bootcamp. This might make you think, Why not buy a Macbook then? In which i have to say, since mac was not built for windows your battery life will fall dramatically fast, your performance will become slower, and it will annoy you with the flash programs. In addition, PC's have a variety of price ranges depending on their intel chip processer, their Ram, their battery life, and the graphic processor. However, Macbooks are very expensive for the name of their brand. The computer is overall good; however it is a very big ripoff. But the Mac osx has the best A/S in the world, since it owns so much retail stores, and the Mac Osx comes with applications you would love to use as a student or as an adult. Some people say the mac's are actually the same as Windows in prices because who ever buys a PC will have no software and will have to buy expensive microsoft products and if you enjoy recording music or creating video's unlike the mac you'll have to buy it on your own for usually over a hundred bucks. Another advantage of the Mac would be that it is virus proof. So if you put in a usb with a virus, it will not get infected on a mac while it will infect a pc. So in the end, people buy the Macbook regardless of the price for a trustable products. However, who enjoys to play games with overload of graphics they might just buy a PC laptop with the greatest graphic processers since they do not buy it for multitasking like students or adults who use it for everyday usage. So buying a laptop ultimately is not easy at all, so you have to consider every factor of a laptop before you buy one without considerations.

Have you ever wondered why god would’ve created the poor, and the disabled? I truthfully think “sin” is just too easy for the suffering these people have to go through and I know that god is a fair god. For their lives to go wrong benefited people in the presence of life finally get to notice that their life is just fine compared to the ones who are living in unbelievable environments. Humans tend to feel bad for themselves for very small factors of life though there is an exception because some people like sharing. The problem is that humans hate losing. We hate losing friends, loosing family members, or losing in a game of monopoly. Personally, I hated coming back to Korea from America, and every day I wonder why everything gets screwed. My daily life in school goes like this; once I get caught speaking Korean I get detention and as if that is not enough I get disciplined in my dorm for not having my bed made. It annoys me till the point, where I estimate what might go wrong for tomorrow. What I am missing in my life is not only the acceptance of claiming my self being blessed compared to the others, but also leaving my problems and making it worse day by day. It might be the result of my pessimistic mind set; however from relooking at my actions I am able to accept this school as an international school and Korean is not understood by every student/teachers. Likewise, if the bed is not made it gives the wrong vibe toward visitors. Ultimately, anything will go wrong till you accept, repent, and transform your life.

Migrant Mother My Story

I am a mother, just a mother. I do not expect attention therefore i hate being on the spotlight. Hard times has past and this doesn't mean i need support nor pity because I believe in me and my children. No matter where i am in the separation of power, i still need independence and people got to keep their mouths right. It's never right to come take pictures and promise then break it anyways since it defined the crisis of america. I am still a person who knows whats going around and i do not need the pity feelings of others, because i believe i can get through this. The thing is, no one knows my name. Yes, i am the migrant mother, the icon of depression and sorrow. However, I also have a name if you did not realize. I am a independent being who has a name, has a child, but does not have a husband. If it was a couple years back in track, i would never would have been on the news papers, and i would be living in such a blessed life. Nothing works out perfectly and death is on it's way to hunt like my husband life.

My husband used to work in a factory and he suffered from an illness. It was hard for our family to live in such situations so my husband finally got a job. Then we had an abundance of food therefore our family was happy, considering that we had 6 kids. It was till he lost his job i found some migrant camps and before i get into detail, my husband died after this from the illness he had before. Well, my relatives tried to plan something to take care of my child's, since i was now in the migrant camp; however i promised with my husband that i was going to see these child grow with my eyes and do not let others interfere my plans. I starved for them in the camp and i was living a decent life of my own fulfilling my dead husband's promise. It was till this photographer who came to take pictures of me. I tried to ignore her, which was impossible because these camera lenses were reflecting light into my eyes. Nothing could have been more annoying. I had a half depressed and half mad face though this came out to be the famous photo that defined depression the "Migrant Mother". For some reason i have promises broken and my dreams are always broken with out a warning. I remember clearly that the photographer was not going to publish it, well i guess it does not matter since it was on every news paper. So i left that camp because people kept on visiting to support. As i told you before i hate being bothered and i am an independent being who has privacy as well. I wish i could not be known as the icon of depression but as "Florence Owens" who lived a happy life with their children with some misery with the dead of her husband.

Wolf's Point of View

I stand in front of you, my holy judge, I stand here today to prove these piggy's wrong. I have a addiction of pork and my parents have left me home alone. That is to say, this is my parents fault and they should take the consequence. In addition i was not trying to eat these piggy's i was trying to show, their houses are not strong enough for a tornado. From this i wanted to show them in real life what might happen if there was a tornado. I also have asthma so i need to spit out some dirty air in my lung so that i do not die in such short period of my life. I want to enjoy my life and also help others, the pigs only see the flat surface. I was trying to make them explore the 3dimensional side of who i am and to show my purpose of coming in to their town. I also have a brother who wanted to get an ice cream in this hot weather; perhaps the government did not make a convenience store near our town so i travelled to the piglet's town to get ice cream so it was a coincidence.

Once again i do not defend my self, but prove that these pigs are wrong. There is a big difference, i did not do any crime toward them. Ultimately they weren't eaten by me so that proves my purpose in the first place was to just have a tag game with each other; however there was a misunderstanding between us. I also needed support to maintain a good balance in my earnings of money. By now i have lost a job, i have three child foxes, and the government has not supported me for anything. This led me to steal, i was not trying to kill them though and i did not steal in the end and the pigs had no lose in their position or money and privacy. I have seen scientific study's about human psychology and it is true that people act upon the situation given not by the person's personality. The piglets actually have a tendency of getting scared if they do not get enough food so while I get my brothers ice cream because these three pigs don't have parents i was trying to get them some food for them by the way. However they were scared of me because they thought i was the big bad wold. Technically i wan the species of lions with the mix of skin tone from black dog species. So they had no writ to call me a different ethnicity, it was offensive compared to my intentions. I only wanted make them know their houses are not strong enough, i was trying to give love by giving food, and also have a game of tag. They rejected which would have benefited them however they tried to reject me for racist reasons of mistaking me as the big bad wolf and i feel like i have been abused. As i conclude i want to make clear i have done no wrong and this was just a misunderstanding and racism problem of my skin color.
